November 3, 2020 - Since its inception, issues have had a subtle role in club affairs. And thanks to one of its members, they're beginning to change.

Jack Richards, a designer and researcher for the Techno_Waffles, presented information on revisions that needed to be done in order for the club to remain consistent and set a precedent for years to come. Without a fix, he warned, the club may collapse on itself and be unable to function properly.
The Issues
He cited the following issues for possible revisions:
Leadership: Half the club has a "leadership" position that has practically zero authority, and are just tasks. The club should have roughly three trustworthy people in charge of overall organization. The roles are referred to as the Team Captain, Engineering Director, and the Director of Teasury. The Team Captain organizes the club and makes sure all tasks are being completed, the Engineering Director oversees construction of the robot (coding, building, and circuitry), and the Director of Treasury is responsible for allotting funds, organizing fundraisers, and designing the robot (including this website).
Monetary Affairs: Up until this point, the team only secured funds through grants and sponsorships. In order for the club to function properly, smaller monetary goals and a more proactive stance on school/public fundraisers would help raise more money.
Member Dynamics: Fairness among team members was a big issues, with some members having better opportunities than others. In order for the club to function, every single person needs to have an equal chance at working directly with the robot moving forward.
Members of the club heartily agreed with the grievances listed, and moved to adopt most of the revisions.
New Roles
Following the presentation, the previous leadership titles were revoked (minus the Team Captain) and new roles were given to new members. The roles are as follows:
Team Captain: Elijah Sandoval-Dean
Engineering Director: Samuel Maxwell
Director of Treasury: Hayden Elliott
